Synopsis | EN<\/strong> | Racetrack S\u0142u\u017cewiec in Warsaw has a spacious backstage \u2013 invisible for Varsovians \u201cracing town\u201d. In the times of the Polish People\u2019s Republic it was a state-owned company. Today the ghetto-like community is still living here. Since the transformation 89\u2019, the horse racing is in a permanent organizational and financial crisis in Poland. Regardless of this, the rhythm of everyday and annual life is determined here by the training of horses. The document allows to enter social worlds in two stables. At the macro level film depicts the history of Racetrack S\u0142u\u017cewiec and the current state of this interwar modernistic estate. The Author of this film \u2013 Barbara Bossak-Herbst is a lecturer at the Institute of Sociology University of Warsaw. Her interests includes: urban studies, visual culture and multispecies relations.<\/p>\n
