Resumo curto / Short abstract
Considerando a complexidade das sociedades contemporâneas e os desafios interculturais que se colocam nos processos educativos e formativos e dada a diversidade cultural, étnica e social, este painel pretende discutir sobre abordagens, metodologias e experiências que sejam uma referência ao nível da promoção da convivência intercultural em contextos educativos e com impacto em termos de continuidade e sucesso dos percursos educativos/formativos de diferentes grupos sociais e culturais.
Resumo longo / Long abstract
Nas sociedades contemporâneas são visíveis processos crescentes de movimentações humanas provenientes de diferentes partes do mundo o que provoca um alargamento das possibilidades de coexistência e de convivência de pessoas pertencentes a diferentes culturas e modos de vida. Para além das diversidades associadas à mobilidade geográfica e social, são também percetíveis diferenciações culturais entre cidadãos nacionais com tentativas de valorizações etnocêntricas. Nestes contextos multiculturais, através dos contactos culturais entre pessoas de origens culturais diferentes e dos processos sociais que se desenvolvem face às relações sociais entre autóctones e não autóctones resultam processos de aculturação, inserção, integração que se revelam em forma de miscigenação, hibridismo, pluralismo cultural, transformações identitárias e transformação social. Este painel pretende abordar os desafios que se colocam aos processos educativos e formativos desenvolvidos em Portugal em contextos pluriculturais, mas também em outros países e promover a reflexão e discussão sobre múltiplas abordagens, tipo de metodologias usadas e conhecer experiências referenciais ao nível da promoção da convivência intercultural em contextos formativos e educativos e com impacto em termos de continuidade e sucesso dos percursos educativos e/ou formativos, não só no plano nacional mas também internacional. Para esta reflexão assume particular interesse a apresentação de investigações e de experiências que reflitam sobre práticas educativas e formativas e de gestão da diversidade nestes contextos, avaliação de políticas públicas, programas ou projetos concluídos ou em curso e que permitam aprofundar o conhecimento sobre esta complexidade social espelhada no contexto escolar e/ou formativo e com incidência no sucesso ou insucesso escola/formativo, envolvimento parental e comunitário e também em situações de abandono, de retorno ou de (des)motivação face ao sistema de ensino/formação. Considering the complexity of contemporary societies and the intercultural challenges in educational and training processes and given cultural, ethnic and social diversity, this panel intends to discuss approaches, methodologies and experiences that are a reference in the promotion of intercultural coexistence in educational contexts and impact in terms of continuity and success of the educational / training paths of different social and cultural groups.
Resumo longo / Long abstract
In contemporary societies, there are increasing processes of human movements from different parts of the world, which leads to an extension of the possibilities of coexistence and conviviality of people belonging to different cultures and ways of life. In addition to the diversities associated with geographical and social mobility, cultural differences between national citizens with attempts at ethnocentric values are also perceptible. In these multicultural contexts, cultural contacts between people of different cultural origins and social processes that develop in the face of the social relations between autochthonous and non-utochthonous result in processes of acculturation, integration and integration that are revealed in the form of miscegenation, hybridism, cultural pluralism , identity transformations and social transformation. This panel intends to analyze the challenges to the educational and training processes developed in Portugal in pluricultural contexts, but also in other countries and to promote reflection and discussion on multiple approaches, the type of methodologies used and to know reference experiences at the level of promoting coexistence intercultural in educational and educational contexts and with impact in terms of continuity and success of educational and / or formative pathways, not only nationally but also internationally.For this reflection, it is of particular interest to present research and experiences that reflect on educational and formative practices and diversity management in these contexts, evaluation of public policies, programs or projects completed or in progress and that allow to deepen the knowledge about this social complexity in the context of schooling and / or training and with an impact on success or failure in school / training, parental and community involvement, and also in situations of abandonment, return or (lack of) motivation towards the education / training system.
